Refuel the Teachers

We work hand-in-hand with parents and Friends of VSPA in programs that foster relationships and create an environment where students, teachers, staff, and parents feel welcomed and appreciated. Our budget is guided by our mission statement by creating programs that provide active involvement, social interaction and community building among the school, parents, teachers, and staff at the Village School. This is how we do it!

With more than 80 nationalities at the heart of our school, our hope is to create an environment where every student can thrive, every teacher feels supported, and every parent feels welcomed into our community.

We support programs that foster relationships and build strong parent-teacher connections that help prepare our students to navigate the future.

ACTIVE INVOLVEMENT

SOCIAL INTERACTION

COMMUNITY BUILDING

Cultural Celebrations

Active involvement is an opportunity for VSPA to support our students and teachers through various divisional and school-wide activities such as Refuel the Teachers, the Friendsgiving event in the Elementary School and our various Cultural Celebrations like Lunar New Year luncheon for the res life students and our community Iftar celebration,

Social interaction provide our parents and families with the opportunity to learn, engage and become a part of our school and community. We have held parent socials, support Parent-led groups, hosted special events like the Eclipse Parent Picnic and welcome new and returning families with parent coffees in August and January.

Community building make up our largest events and help bring our students, parents, teachers and staff together to celebrate our diverse and international community. Many of these events also serve as fundraising events for us to be able to develop our active involvement and social interaction programs throughout the year.
