Over the summer, our dedicated team worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth transition into the new school year. Their hard work did not go unnoticed, and we wanted to take the time to express our gratitude with a token of appreciation.

Gift Cards for Excellence

Thanks to the support from the VSPA, we were able to provide $50 Target gift cards to staff who went above and beyond during the busy summer months. These gift cards serve as a small gesture to acknowledge their immense contributions and dedication to the school's environment and community. The summer activities were extensive, marking a period of growth and enhancement for the Village School.

Transformative Summer Projects

For those who were present at the school during the summer, the hustle and bustle was palpable. Numerous renovations took place, including room changes, the assembly of new furniture, and the setup of new tech equipment. The list of improvements made is long and reflects the commitment of our staff to provide the best possible learning environment for the students. Staff members like Levie Benavides, our Maintenance Manager, displayed outstanding leadership while ensuring the successful preparation for various events. His support for initiatives like the Welcome Back Parent Breakfast and the Community Market was invaluable and showcased his ability to mesh professionalism with fun.

Furthermore, we cannot forget to mention the contributions of other stellar staff members such as Natasha Aragon (Staff), Lewis Fraley (Maintenance), and Juan Sebastian (Custodial). Each of them brought their unique skills and hard work to the table, contributing to the overall enhancement of our school's facilities and programs.
